Since its founding in 1979, the Korea Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (KOMMA) has played a pivotal role in technological innovation, international cooperation, and policy leadership within the machine tool industry, maintaining a prominent position in the global market.
■ KOMMA Delegation Visits Inovance Facilities Recently, a large delegation from KOMMA visited Inovance Technology to engage in in-depth discussions on the latest advancements and innovations in machine tool manufacturing. The delegation was welcomed by Zheng Zhong, Vice President of Inovance’s Overseas Business Department; Zhu Xianghua, Head of CNC; and key representatives from the Korean regional sales, technical teams, and the SBC branch.
Zheng Zhong, Vice President of Inovance, stated in his welcoming remarks: “As a highly influential organization in Korea, KOMMA focuses on driving industry innovation and market expansion. Since launching our international operations, Inovance has continuously strengthened R&D for overseas products and emphasized collaboration with international partners. We hope this exchange will foster deeper mutual understanding and create opportunities to jointly promote the development of the Korean machine tool industry.”
The delegation of 19 representatives toured Inovance’s Industrial Control Museum and its smart manufacturing workshops. The visitors were highly impressed by Inovance’s commitment to quality. During the visit, both parties reached multiple consensus points regarding future technical cooperation and market network expansion.
During the technical exchange session, both sides discussed Inovance’s innovative achievements in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) systems, servo drives, motor technology, and SBC linear guides. By leveraging advanced control algorithms and high-efficiency motor drive solutions, Inovance not only enhances the precision and productivity of machine tools but also achieves significant results in energy saving and carbon reduction, supporting a green and sustainable future for the industry.
Both parties agreed that there is immense potential for collaboration between Inovance and KOMMA member companies. Moving forward, Inovance plans to leverage its SBC branch to proactively expand its presence and strengthen its partnership within the Korean market.
